To be Effective, Marketing Must Reflect Reality

David Jones, the global CEO of Havas and Euro RSCG, presented five key trends during his keynote at the Mashable Connect conference. The first is that social media has made it impossible to hide, and that eventually the truth will come out. Jones cited Domino’s “Pizza Turnaround” campaign, which was made in response to brutal feedback about the company’s product, as an example of accepting reality and using it to genuinely improve product and try to change minds.
